Phylum Chordata
The Phylum Chordata is a group of animals that is different from all other animals due to the fact that they have notochords, hollow dorsal nerve chord, an endostyle, and a post-anal tail. The digestive system of a chordate is very simple, and straightforward. A Chordate has a mouth with a tongue inside of it, which it uses to put the food in through. After entering the mouth the food travels to the stomach, and through the intestines, and finally out the anus.
