Centipede Digestive System
The digestive system of a centipede is held in the abdomen. The digestive system of a centipede has three parts. The first is called the foregut (stomach). In this section of the digestive system the food is stored and broken into smaller pieces. The foregut then leads to the midgut where most of the food is digested and absorbed. Following that is the hindgut where the food is released as waste.
