Starfish Digestive System
The digestive system of the starfish begins at the mouth, and the food goes into the cardiac stomach which connect to the pyloric stomach. The pyloric stomach is connected to both the anus and to the pyloric dusts and pyloric cecum. The pyloric cecum and cardiac stomach produce digestive enzymes and the digested material is absorbed by the pyloric ceca throughout the rest of the body.
